In the recent testing in Ukraine armour plates withstood 5.45 armour-piercing and 7.62 SVD metallic core bullets from 20-25 meters distance. Battle field tested armour plates with the ultimate tensile strength - 2023 MPa is the new frontier of ballistic resistance.
Recently our engineers achieved the following yield (UYS) and tensile (Rm) strength results of our armour plates:
Yield strength - 1665 MPa (average from 27 specimen)
Tensile strength - 2027 MPa (average from 27 specimen)
It exceeds even the best armour steel available in the market, which has tensile strength max 1600 MPa.
Our development is suitable for different applications:
High strength bolts, axles, wearing plates (with the hardness of the products - 56-59 HRC).
